August 30 Kazan will host XXXI Republican festival of folk art "Play, Accordion!" - "Uynagyz, garmunnar!"

On  August 30, the celebration of the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan,   Kazan will host XXXI Republican festival of folk art "Play, Accordion!" - "Uynagyz, garmunnar!". According to the established tradition, the holiday will be held on the square in front of  Kamal  Tatar State Aacdemic Theatre.

Festival opens with colorful prologue "Flourish  and strengthen Tatarstan, from year to year, it is my accordion   sings!". Then  a parade of  accordion  players  to take place, a  concert program with participation of folklore, dance, vocal groups. There will be contests of harmonica, folk songs, etc.. on the square  interactive platforms will be working where viewers will be able themselves to participate in the festivities.

The celebration will be attended by 600 amateur and professional artists from Kazan, Buinsk, Mamadysh, Mendeleev, Rybno-Sloboda, Spassky, Nurlat, Sabinsky, Pestretsy, Kukmor, Agryz, Apastovsky, Tukayevsky, Cheremshansky, Drozhzhanovsky, Novosheshminsky, Arsk, Kamsko- Ustinsky and other municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as guests from the Kirov region, the Chuvash Republic, the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Festival "Play, Accordion!" will be held from 10.00 to 13.00. And from 13.00 on the same concert stage will perform throat singing of the creative team of "Alash" from the Republic of Tuva.
