All-Russian Festival of Poetry, dedicated to 273 anniversary of the birth of G.R. Derzhavin and 200-year anniversary of the poet's death
July 14, 2016, marks 273 years since the birth of the great Russian poet and statesman Gavril Derzhavin. Russian literature is impossible to imagine without the name of G.R. Derzhavin, whose poetry influenced not only poets of the late XVIII - early XIX century, but also for all of the Russian literature. Each generation of poets and readers open in G.R. Derzhavin new facets of his artistic heritage. G.R. Derzhavin - author of a philosophical, civic, patriotic poetry, and at the same time verses from the book "Anacreontic songs" belong to him.
G.R. Derzhavin - our countryman, his childhood was associated with Kazan and Laishevo region, he studied at the Kazan gymnasium and wanted to come back a governor.
Traditionally, on this day, the All-Russia Derzhavin’s poetry festival will take place, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Writers' Union of the Republic of Tatarstan, Laishevo municipal district, the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan.
This year, all-Russia’s poetry festival named after G.P. Derzhavin is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the poet's death.
All-Russia Derzhavin’s poetry festival will begin on July 14, at 11:00 in the city of Kazan, near the monument to G.P. Derzhavin in Lyadsky garden ( Gorky str.). A solemn wreath-laying ceremony, to be attended by leaders of the Republic of Tatarstan, members of the Union of the Republic of Tatarstan Writers, poets, teachers, guests of the festival, literary and cultural community.
At the monument, a poetic meeting "The Wreath to G.R. Derzhavin from contemporary poets." Among the speakers: Chairman of the Union of the Republic of Tatarstan Danil Salikhov, as well as writers and poets: Ahat Mushinskii (a member of the RT WR, a laureate of Derzhavin’s Award), Ramis Aymet (a member of the RT WR PT, first deputy chairman of the PT WR, a winner of H. Taktash prize), Vera Khamidullina (Naberezhnye Chelny, a member of the PT WR, a winner of the All-Russian literary "Golden pen of Russia" award), Boris Weiner (a member of the PT WR, a winner of the literary M.Gorky prize), Albina Absalyamova (a member of the PT WR, chief editor of "Idel "), Eduard Uchar - poet, a winner of the" Tournament of poets "Literary Universiade in Kazan in 2013, Galina Tyutyugina (Almetyevsk) - poet, a member of the literary circle "Beloye pero (White feather) ".
The celebration will be attended by representatives of other writers 'organizations in Russia: Nikolai Pereyaslov (Moscow, poet, secretary of the Union of Writers of Russia), Vladimir Seredina (Moscow, a well-known translator, deputy chairman of the International Community of Writers' Unions, Co-Chair of the Union of Writers of Russia, Honored Worker of Russian culture), Lydia Ishmurzina (Executive Secretary of the All-Russian literary community of writers of Russia)
Main activities of Derzhavin’s poetry festival will be held in Laishevo region. The festival program includes a tour of the Derzhavin places in Laishevo region on route: village Sokury – stele, a square after Derzhavin, Exaltation of the Cross church; village Egorevo - Church of the Epiphany, the tombs of the parents of G.R.Derzhavin; Laishevo - quay; theatrical tour of the museum of Laishevsky region after G.R. Derzhavin named "On the cradle of my initial days!". Festival visitors will see the exhibition "River of Time – G.R. Derzhavin’s life."
At 16.00 on the central square after G.R.Derzhavin in a town Laishevo, All-Russia poetry festival after G.R. Derzhavin is continued by a literary and musical presentation, which will begin by laying flowers at the monument to G.P. Derzhavin.
During the literary and musical performance dramatized scenes featuring G.R. Derzhavin and Catherine II will be shown, performed by leading actors of TYUZ M. Merkushin and N. Kalaganova, the well-known art songs will sound performed by soloists of the Tatar State Philharmonic after G.Tukai: Honored Artist Republic of Tatarstan, Vladimir Vasiliev, a laureate of international contests Regina Valeeva, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, Roman Chuynov, the folklore ensembles of Laishevo region "Karavon" and "Russian soul", a soloist Olga Shatrova will perform.
At the All-Russia festival of poetry after G.R.Derzhavin award ceremony of the first winners of the Republican Prize after G.R. Derzhavin established by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan in the spring of 2016 will be held.
The poetry festival will be attended by famous figures of literature and culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, writers and poets, the leadership of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ministry of Culture and public organizations. It is anticipated speeches by N.V. Pereyaslov (Moscow, Secretary of the Union of Writers of Russia), L.B. Ishmurzina (Moscow, executive secretary of the All-Russian community of writers of Russia), V.G. Seredina (Moscow, deputy chairman of the International Community of Writers' Unions), Izmailova S.Yu. (Deputy Director General for the research work of the National Museum of Tatarstan, Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan), winners of the Literary Prize after G.R.Derzhavin previous years: L. R. Gazizova, R.R. Sabirov, M.V.Tuzova, O.G. Levadnaya, N.P.Aleshkova and R.M.Haris, People's Republic of Tatarstan poet, a laureate of the State Prize of Russia, performances by poets, members of RT WR N. Ishmukhametov, A. Karimov, A.Bik-Bulatov, N.G.Akhunova (Honored worker of culture of Tatarstan, the head of the literary association "White crow"), A.Nurislamova.
Young poets from the city of Naberezhnye Chelny - O.Lenshakov and S. Letyaga will perform. The festival will feature songs by the poet, a winner of the festival of art song, prize holder of Grushensky fest O.N. Kuz'micheva-Drabysheuskaya on the words by Gavril Derzhavin.
The celebration will be attended by a distant relative of Gavril Derzhavin A.N.Vlasov, Colonel of Justice in reserve.
During the Poetry festival, the children - winners of the art contest "The old man Derzhavin noticed us ...") will be awarded.
