Festival at the manor of Sandetsky strengthens cultural ties between the US and Russia
July 7, 2016, at 19.00, in the park of the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan the opening of the jubilee X International Festival of Improvised Music «Jazz at the manor of Sandetsky" is to be held. The first concert of a two-month online guests will be given to the guests from the United States - before the Kazaners the first time performs a singer Miguel Angelo and a band «Immigrants». Opening to be visited by Attaché of the US Embassy on issues of culture James Land. In welcoming telegram Mr. Land expressed the hope that "the participation in the festival of American artists will contribute to the expansion of our cultural relations and strengthen mutual understanding between the peoples of the US and Russia."

«Jazz in the estate Sandetsky" - an annual summer music festival open air, which is held since 2007. The forum is held in the park area of the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan (earlier manor of Governor General Sandetsky). The duration of the festival - two months (concerts are held on a weekly basis); the style is diverse - from mainstream to avant-garde. Since the opening of the festival was visited with performances by musicians, representing the colors of Russian and foreign jazz culture.
The participants of the X International festival «Jazz at the manor of Sandetsky" will be more than 50 musicians from around the world, including Nino Katamadze, Mariam Merabova, Arkady Shilkloper and others. The program is published on the official website of the festival jazzkazan.ru.
