October 15-16, 2016 in Nizhny Novgorod Cup of the Volga Federal District within the Russian Championship on folk dances to be held

October 15-16, 2016,  in Nizhny Novgorod  a Cup of the Volga Federal District within the Russian Championship on folk dances   to be held. Choreographic groups from different subjects of the Volga Federal District will gather in Nizhny Novgorod, to reveal the strongest among those involved in folk dancing.

PFD Cup is also a qualifying stage of the Championship of Russia on folk dances. In the final stage of the Championship, which will take place in December 2016 in Moscow, from  the Volga Federal District will get only the best teams who received the highest scores.

Russian Championship  on folk dances - the annual federal competition of dance groups, designed to determine the champion of Russia on  folk dance in three age categories: children, teenagers and youth, as well as the category "People's styling." Championship consists of nine Cups Federal District, held in each of them and the final stage, which will bring together the best teams from each district. As part of the final stage of the Cup and the addition of the participants also held round tables for teachers, as well as master classes for participants. On the territory of Russia is home to more than 180 nations and nationalities, and they all have their own unique culture, including those expressed in the dance. This championship is a unique opportunity to demonstrate the flavor of dance of their native land, as well as to fight for the title holder of the Cup of the Federal District or the Champion of Russia's folk dances.  While  this championship, creating conditions for the development of children and youth abilities, is the implementation of a national system of identification of problems and the development of young talent.
