This year, the venue for the Federal Sabantui XVI will become the city of Nizhny Novgorod

From 15 to July 16, the event will be held in Nizhny Novgorod, dedicated to  Federal Sabantui. These include concerts, national commercial exhibitions, sporting events and much more. As part of Sabantui also scheduled presentation of the Tatar farmstead and master classes with gold sewing, basket weaving, leather mosaics and others. The place of celebration of the national holiday of July 16 will park them. May 1 and "Lokomotiv" stadium in Kanavinsky district of Nizhny Novgorod. Beginning at 11.00.

In Tatarstan there was a practice of adopting a holding Sabantui in Russian regions, municipal formations of the republic. Federal Sabantuy traditionally prepares Nizhnekamsk Municipal District, which showed the best experience in this business.

Federal Sabantui will be held this year for the sixteenth time. With two thousand years it was held in 15 Russian regions. Every year the Federal Sabantui brings together tens of thousands of visitors from across the country and has long been positioned at the federal level as one of the key Russian activities aimed at harmonization of interethnic relations in our country. This is the second Federal Sabantui, which takes Nizhny Novgorod in the history of the event. First Federal Sabantui in Nizhny Novgorod took place in 2005.
