In Alexeyevsky, today, June 12, opens XIV Festival “Bells' chimes Alekseevskaya-2016 " took place. The event was held at the Cathedral Square of the village. The festival has been opened by Tatarstan Minister of Culture Airat Sibagatullin and Bishop of Chistopol and Nizhnekamsk Parmen, writes local newspaper "Zarya" ("Tan").
Minister of Culture read out to the residents of the region and guests of the festival congratulation from the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. Airat Sibagatullin noted that this festival preserves the traditions of Russian culture and strengthens tolerance among the peoples of Tatarstan. On a personal note the Minister admitted that he was delighted by the event. "I am here for the first time. I am surprised and shocked at what was happening on stage. Any of the peoples of Tatarstan holidays - is first of all the cognizing a spiritual world of our people and rapprochement between us. Thank you to those who once have started this festival. I am very happy ", - he said.
Bishop of Chistopol and Nizhnekamsk Parmen noticed that this festival is to show the world the good intentions and good-neighborly relations of the peoples living in the republic. "By example of this bell’s ringing we talk say about our wisdom, tolerance, our good understanding in the land, which the Lord has given us as destiny: that we could work together here, to pray, to build, to raise children, care for elders. Be blessed this day, "- said the bishop.
After the welcoming speeches a gala concert took place. After the Alexeevsky bell ringers, Moscow musician Stanislav Bartenev and Alekseevskaya lady singer Ekaterina Trifonova performed. She sang the hymn "Alekseevskaya chimes."
The sounds of bells by the best masters of the bells of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine were interspersed with songs, dance and musical items by artists. Among them were the singers and performers of folk music, like Anna Sizov, Irina Leonova, Egor Strelnikov, and others.
Spectators were deeply impressed by performance of Kazan Metropolitan's choir "Oh. Virgin Pure" anthem.
A striking decoration of the concert was the sand show by Xenia Jonas. She created images of sand, which became the background for the parable of "Hail The Queen ..." sung by the priest Ilya Matashov of Alekseevsky and Cossack Choir "Razdolye" from the Volgograd region.
For the first time at the festival, viewers saw a video message from the Ukrainian, Akhtyrka town in whose honor the Akhtyrka Icon of Our Lady was named - the patroness of Alekseevsky.
The festival lasted until late at night.
