 June 1, 2016, the XXVI Festival "Happy Childhood" was held at the Theatre of Opera and Ballet after M. Dzhalil.

Children from Laishevsky children's home, children from social rehabilitation centers of the city were invited for the festival - they have seen a whirlwind of folk dances on the best theatrical platform of ​​the city.

The repertoire of the ensembles consisted  of folk choreographic masterpieces of  Tatarstan classics  - "Epipa", "Garmoshka", "Kalinka"; dances of the peoples of the world - Bashkir, Kalmyk Moldovan, Latvian, Hungarian, Polish, Bulgarian, Jewish, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Argentinean, Italian, Spanish, Colombian, Irish; big  broad  choreographic suites - "Flourish, our Tatarstan", "Childhood", "Russia", "Sunshine", says Children's Center "Happy Childhood".

Over 38 years of history of the ensemble "Happy Childhood" more than 10 thousand boys and girls have learned the dance traditions of the peoples of our republic, have learned to perform amazingly beautiful folk dances, have become young masters of choreography. Children proudly and successfully represented the art of the peoples of Tatarstan and Russia in the 52 countries of the world, took on home soil guests of 6 international festivals from 44 countries at the highest international professional level.
