Festival of Russian folklore "Karavon", which will be held May 29 in the village of Nikolskoye of the  Laishevo region of Tatarstan, has its own characteristics. During the last few years we carried out studies of the roots of this event. It was  found out that the festival was held in honor of St. Nicholas the Miracle Worker - the patron saint of the Russian people and the defender of the peasants. Residents  Nikolsky referred  to the saint with special respect, because  it was he who gave the name to the village.

On the day all brides, wearing the most beautiful dress, went to the meadow and  performed circle dances. It was  a bride-show. For year  to be  fruitful and for all to have a smiling luck, it was necessary to perform a series of rituals.

Special guests of the festival will be the TV project "Igrai Garmon" and Anastasia Zavolokina.
