The annual meeting of directors of national and municipal libraries of the Republic of Tatarstan

April 14, 2016,  at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan,  the annual meeting of directors of national and municipal libraries of the Republic of Tatarstan  took place.

The event has been  organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan and RT GBUK "National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan". The meeting was attended by representatives of the RT State Council, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, heads of republican libraries and Director of centralized library systems of the republic, the teachers of the Kazan State Institute of Culture, RT information technology staff of the Centre.

 Chairman of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on education, culture, science and national issues, the Chairman of the Republic of Tatarstan of the National Library Board of Trustees Razil Valeev welcomed the audience, and noted the need  for holding  in  libraries  the  measures attracting   to the book and reading, which is particularly important in the framework of organizing commemorative events for the 130th anniversary of Gabdulla Tukai and the 110th anniversary of the birth of Musa Jalil.

In his speech, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Guzel Sharipova said about the results of activity of libraries of the republic in 2015, the prospects for their development and the challenges facing the library community of  Tatarstan.

In a solemn ceremony  the winners and participants of the annual contest "Leader" and "Creative Search" have been awarded. The award "Leader" was conferred to  MBU "Sabin centralized library system" (District Library named   after Abrar Karimullin) Sabinsky municipal district.

The award "Creative Search" has been  awarded  to:

-  In nomination  "Central Library" - Central Library MBU "Atninskaya centralized library system" Atninsky municipal district;

- In  nomination  "City Library" - the city library-branch № 13 MBU "Centralized Library System" in Naberezhnye Chelny;

- In  nomination  of "Rural Library" - Kargalinsky rural library MBUK "Chistopolskaya intersettlement Central Library" Chistopol municipal district.

Letters of thanks from  the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan for the development of innovation was awarded to:

- MBU "intersettlement Central Library" Nurlat municipal district (for the project "Literature without borders").

- Central Library MBU "Vysokogorsky Centralized Library System" Vysokogorsky municipal district (for the project "Book and Reading in the parks").

- City Library-branch № 23 MBU "Centralized Library System of Zelenodolsk municipal district" (for the project "Library - connecting generations thread").

- Aydarovskaya rural library MBU "Tyulyachinskaya district library" Tyulyachinsky  municipal district (for the project "Library - the mastermind of new ideas").

A report on the results of the centralized library systems of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2015 made  head of the scientific-methodological department of the Republic of Tatarstan  of the National library  Svetlana Davletshina.
