IV International scientific-practical conference "Cultural heritage in the XXI century: preservation, use, popularization"

From   April 18 to 19,  2016,  Kazan, on the basis of the Kazan State Architectural University will host the IV International scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 50th anniversary of architectural education in Tatarstan.

Conference organizers: Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Public youth movement for the preservation of Kazan "Red Shield".

Objectives of the conference: the exchange of views on the issues and to explore the issues of restoration and preservation of cultural heritage.

Tasks:

- Understanding of the value of cultural heritage in the XXI century;

- Definition of the role of cultural heritage in the development of spiritual and material potential of the region;

- Development of methods for promotion of cultural heritage;

- To develop forms of cooperation with the authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan City Hall and public organizations for the development and implementation of the proposed during the Conference ideas and projects.

The plenary session of the conference will feature presentations of honored guests from Russia and foreign countries - leading scientists, representatives of public organizations involved in the preservation of cultural heritage of RT government officials.

Within the framework of the breakout sessions of the conference will discuss the following issues:

-  Study, preservation and promotion, reconstruction and restoration of architectural heritage in the historical and cultural environment.

- Actual problems of architectural restoration and architectural education in Russia and Tatarstan.

At the conference,  April 18-22,  a project-educational seminar for undergraduate and graduate students in the workshop format will be held: "Historical and cultural environment of the city. City Tchistopol: Prospects for updates. " For non-resident  participants of the conference  distant  participation in the workshop  is planned.
