Information on the award of an annual theater prize by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan "Tantana" "Triumph") in 2016

March 1, 2016, accepting applications for the competition of the annual theater prize by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan "Tantana" ("Triumph") was completed.

In 2016, the Commission on Award has received 128 applications from 15 state theaters and 6 non-state theater companies and studios in the following nominations:

"Debut" - 14 applications from 12 collectives;

"The honor and dignity (For loyalty to the profession)" - 11 applications from 10 collectives;

"Best Puppet Theatre actor" - 2 applications of 2 theatres;

"Best Supporting Actress" - 14 applications from 12 collectives;

"Best Supporting Actor" - 15 applications from 11 collectives;

"Best Actress" - 15 applications from 14 collectives;

"Best Actor" - 17 applications from 12 collectives;

"For the ensemble cast" - 12 applications from 11 collectives;

"Event of the Year" - 14 applications from 12 collectives;

"Best bit part" - 11 applications from 8 collectives;

"Best Actor of musical theater" - 3 applications from 2 theaters.

Following the meeting, Commission Award, held March 16, 2016, has defined a list of nominees for the annual competition of the Theatre Prize by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan "Tantana" ("Triumph") in 2016.
