A bard song for the first time to sound with orchestra

March 24, at 18.30, in the State Big Concert Hall of the Republic of Tatarstan, the evening of bard's song "Let’s fill with music our hearts" to take place. 

Well-known Kazan singer-songwriters Vladimir Ants, Valery Bokov, Sergei Balzer, Julia Ziganshina, Yakov Margulis, Vitaly Kharisov, Victoria Kharisova Edward Tumansky  first time  will perform  with   an orchestra of  Kazan Conservatory «Tatarica» - and this way  will put an experiment: if the  author's song  implying greater intimacy, a personal tone and confessional sincerity, will  sound not to a  guitar accompaniment   but be  accompanied with a big  orchestra?  In addition, the March 24 concert will be the first joint performance of the most famous bards of  Kazan after many years of separation and "autonomous existence."

The concert will feature songs    by  Bulat Okudzhava and Yuri Vizbor, works on poems by Marina Tsvetaeva, Andrei Voznesensky,  well known to Kazaners  songs from the repertoire of the participants-performers. "This is an outstanding poetry and great culture of  relations - says the singer Eduard Tumansky. - Bards during the   Soviet times cultivated the concept of honor, integrity, love, friendship - just what today we are so lacking. We have compiled the best project for the Kazan-songwriters, these are  real masters! After "Aisha" death of the author's song Festival organizer Stas Arshinov  in  Kazan  they  experienced a period of separation, when everyone worked on his own. Today we want to renew the tradition of the "workshop culture", and the concert on March 24 - a manifesto of uniting. I am sure the concert program will be interesting for all its components - fine artists, unusual sounds, favorite songs touching  the soul ... "

It is known that the author's song, which was formed as a genre in the middle of the XX century in various countries (Bulat Okudzhava,  Juli Kim, Vladimir Vysotsky, the Soviet Union, Yves Montand, Charles Aznavour France, Woody Guthrie in the United States, etc.), in Russia more often performed with a guitar. This is due to the specific features of the genre - combining in one person the author of music, text and performer, priority significance of the text to music. However, even Okudzhava argued that the author's song, being in essence a form of urban folklore, may  "lie down  well to the orchestra."

Such an  experiment it   was decided to  hold in Kazan. "Orchestra" Tatarica »- a unique team, the sound of which can be adapted to any project - says artistic director and conductor of the orchestra, Professor of  Kazan Conservatory Rinat Halitov. - We are interested in the idea to make the program of bard songs with orchestra. Light, literally "air" arrangements specifically for the project composed by  Vitaly Kharisov - professional guitarist and composer, a good understanding of the specifics of the genre of art song. "
