House of Friendship of Peoples of Tatarstan will host the final stage of the national beauty contest «Chuvash Beauty of Tatarstan – 2016» («Chavash piki – 2016»)

March 5,  House of Friendship of Peoples of Tatarstan will host the final stage of the national beauty contest " Chuvash Beauty of   Tatarstan - 2016" ( "Chavash piki - 2016").

The competition is aimed at preserving the national culture of the Chuvash people, language and traditions, it has become a tradition in Tatarstan. The main objectives of the event are: attracting young people to the national cultural activities, the development of respect and pride for your  people, rich history and culture, familiarization with  Chuvash customs and traditions, the beauty of the costumes, Chuvash songs and dances, national cuisine.

The idea of ​​the contest is to represent beauty as a combination of the spiritual and intellectual qualities, creativity and  looks of beauty  participants.

The final of the contest will involve winners of regional and city selection rounds. This year for the title of "Chavash piki" will compete  representatives  of   10  RT  municipal districts. The winner of the competition "Tatarstan Chuvash Beauty - 2016" as always will represent our republic  at the All-Russian contest "Russian beauty of  Chuvashia", which will be held in Moscow.

The program includes 5  contests:  a video reel - card (a story about yourself, about hobbies, family, etc.), the presentation of  national dishes, creative items (demonstration of talents: song, dance, acting miniature or otherwise), blitz tournament ( dance and intellectual competition),  a defile  in  ball gowns.

At the end of the contest participants will be awarded with special prizes and titles. 1st place: "Tutarstan Chavash piki - 2016" ( "Chuvash beauty of Tatarstan-2016"), 2nd place: "Mattur pike - 2016" 3rd place "Sarpike - 2016".

We remind  that the competition "Chuvash beauty of Tatarstan" is  held since 2002.

Competition is organized by the Assembly of Peoples of Tatarstan, House of Friendship of Peoples, Chuvash national-cultural autonomy in Tatarstan.

The first winner of the competition, the owner of the title "Chavash pike - 2002" was Tatiana Chashkina, who  had   in  Moscow,  having become  the "Beauty of the Chuvash Russia." In subsequent years, Tatarstan representatives took only prizes at the All-Russian competition,  "Chavash piki" Competition directorate  informs.
