Сontest for the best performance of Boris Pasternak is over in Tchistopol

Annual Republican contest for the best performance of Boris Pasternak, "The purpose of creation - self-giving" has finished   last days of February 2016. The theme of this year was designated   by a  line from Pasternak’s poem: "When  poet loves a  restless god falls in love  ...".

This year  33 general educational institutions of   the Republic of Tatarstan  have taken  part  in a contest.   82 teachers supervised the preparation of competitive items.  Pupils  from Tchistopol and Tchistopol district, Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Alekseevsky rayon  competed in a category "artistic expression" and "literary-musical composition". All these days at  the Memorial Museum of Boris Pasternak candles were burning; in a hall, where the participants were listening,  an exhibition of the fund collections "Life of Boris Pasternak: Themes and Variations" was arranged.

In 2016, among the contestants and organizers of a new tradition   has appeared. Following the presentation in the museum, all participants went  to Skaryatinsky garden, laid flowers at the monument to the Nobel laureate and read poems.

After summing up  the results,  a gala concert of winners and awarding of participants  will be announced.
