"The purpose of creation - self-giving" Boris Pasternak

In Tchistopol  traditionally the birthday of the Poet - 10 February – opens a contest  for the best reading  of his works  is held.

Since 2015  the contest has acquired a status of the republican one. Subject 2016 - "When  poet  loves-  god jetsome  falls in love ..."

By  this time, the applications for participation in a contest   33 secondary  educational institutions  (last year - 25) from different regions of the Republic of Tatarstan: Kazan, Chistopol, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Almetyevsk, p.Alekseevskoe, Baltas have  submitted. Pupils  will compete this year for the title of the best performers of artistic expression and present  literary and musical composition.

The Memorial Museum of Boris Pasternak, where the I stage of the competition is held,   a new exhibition from the fund collections "Life of Boris Pasternak: Themes and Variations" has opened

The first participants of the contest - MBOU "Lyceum №1» Tchistopol  and MBOU "Kubasskaya main secondary  school".

As always,  in a museum of   Boris Pasternak  a candle is lit, and the first day  of contest will end  by laying flowers at his monument. This year for the first time, participants will have the opportunity, and we hope that the laying flowers to the monument of the poet becomes  a good tradition also during  a youth's competition.

We remind that a monument to Boris Pasternak in Tchistopol was inaugurated in the days of the First Pasternak readings in 2015, the year of literature in Russia and the year of the 125th anniversary of his birthday, the press service of Tchistopol Museum-Reserve  informs.
