Svetlana Bogatyr opens a solo exhibition "Sound = Image = Light" on February 5 at the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan (RT SMFA). The lady- artist from France for the first time presents her works in Kazan. Earlier, Kazan viewers had the only possibility to meet with her creativity at the world premiere of "Dona Nobis Pacem" ( "Grant us peace") at the M. Jalil theater of opera and ballet, staged by a legend of world ballet, director and choreographer Vladimir Vasiliev on C-minor Mass by Y.S. Bach. Inspired by the unique language of art and philosophical depth of Svetlana Bogatyr, Maestro put as the basis a number of visual range of performance drawings by the lady-artist, having embodied them in super-modern computer graphics 3D. Transparent world of mysterious images by the artist is made up of numbers and notes, or countless human profiles, forming a boundless universe.
On the score of Svetlana Bogatyr 35 personal and 50 group exhibitions presented. Svetlana Bogatyr works are spaced at the State Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow; State Russian Museum, St. Petersburg; Saratov Art Museum after A.N. Radishev, Saratov; Tbilisi Museum of Fine Arts, Tbilisi; State Literary Museum, Moscow; State Museum of Musical Culture named after Glinka, Moscow; A.N. Scriabin museum, Museum of Prokofiev, Rachmaninoff Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts, Zimmerli, USA; Museum of Contemporary Russian Art, New Jersey, USA; Russian House, Washington, USA; Collections of Mediterranean Institute of Neurobiology (INMED), France, as well as in private collections in Russia, Europe and America.
Opening of the exhibition on February 5, timed to coincide with the new show of the play in Kazan "Dona Nobis Pacem", which will be attended by Vladimir Vasiliev. At the invitation of the theater and the museum artist Svetlana Bogatyr also comes in Kazan to take part in the opening of the exhibition and performance.
The exhibition features about 130 paintings and graphic works by the artist.
The exhibition will last till March 10, 2016.
