The Fund "Zhivoi gorod (Living City)" and creative laboratory "Ugol (Corner)" are touring project "the Theatre" (Ufa) in Kazan, which will be held from   February  25 to 27  in the creative laboratory "Corner".

As part of the  Kazan tour,   3 plays by  the Ufa collective to be shown.

The project "the THEATRE"  has been was created by graduates of the theater department of the Ufa State Academy of Arts  named after  Zagir Ismagilov. Performance "Sobs" staged by Krzysztof Bizet became the starting point for the development of young independent theater in Ufa. The premiere was held at the Centre for Contemporary Art "Oblaka (Clouds)". At this point the repertoire of the project comprises 7 plays, among them  performances for children. The project is based in the creative space "Faktury".

The idea of ​​creating a new private theater in Ufa occurred  to  Alsu Galina, having visited during her  studies  one of the most famous private theaters in Russia, "Kolyada Theatre". Nikolai V. Kolyada noticed a attention of young student that in Ufa,  there are only six public theaters and  no  private small theater, which would  be interesting for any age. Upon arrival to her hometown, Alsu  assembled a team of associates, who began to nurture the idea of ​​creating the first private theater in the city of Ufa, according   to the information from administration of the Creative Laboratory "Ugol".
