The second edition of the series of disks "Tatar gusli sound has appeared." It includes an expeditionary recording made by ethnomusicologist Elmira Kayumova in Arsk region of Tatarstan in 2014. Like the first edition (dedicated to Baltasinsky region), this publication - multimedia. It consists of a CD, DVD, brochures liner 12 pages. The CD-ROM presents gusli tunes songs accompanied by gusli , interviews with folk artists, sample of settings. An illustrated booklet contains photographs of guslyars information about past and present master-manufacturers, design of tools, methods, games, and other repertoire.
The tradition of playing gusli is still alive among the Tatars-Kryashens. However, the number of authentic artists each year is rapidly decreasing. Produced by the Republican center of development of the traditional culture of the audiovisual collections - an important help in the preservation and restoration of the original and the disappearing art. The work was performed in accordance with the decision of the Collegium of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2012 Project Manager - Fanzilya Hakimovna Zavgarova.
Published for the first time the materials are of great scientific and practical value. They can be used when writing studies used in training courses on musical folklore, serve as teaching aid for artists.
