In Kazan, the gala concert of the national inter-university festival of student’s creativity "Day of foreign student of the Republic of Tatarstan"

It was organized by the Youth Assembly of the Peoples Republic of Tatarstan and the  RT Youth Center for Culture and Dialogue. The festival was part of the Republican program "Implementation of the State National Policy of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014-2020."

The festival aims to involve foreign students of universities of Tatarstan in  creative and cultural life of the republic. Their cultural items presented hundreds of students from around the world.

Honorary guests of the holiday were  deputy Prime minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Vasil Shaikhraziev, deputy head of the national policy of the Department of the President on domestic policy Evgeny Efimov, head of the Department in Kazan of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus to Russia Alexander Kulinkovich, deputy minister of education Timirkhan Alishev  and many others.

At the beginning of the concert,   deputy Prime minister of Tatarstan Vasil Shaikhraziev welcomed   the participants and guests "Every man is born to be happy and everyone wants to be successful. Who would you like to be, what profession would like to choose in which country to study? When the choice has been made, you only need to do and learn. We are very pleased that you have chosen our republic, our institutions, and here you are studying today, getting  a profession for which you live and create. The time will come when you get the right education, a degree  and will return home, where you will work productively in the economy, developing your  own country ", - said Deputy Prime Minister. – Besides  getting education, there is a period of  student’s life  - and these years need to be used productively for themselves, developing your  internal capacity. This can be a student council, parliamentary, sports, KVN. Every man for something is  capable of. Skills need only  to be noticed  and  given  an opportunity to realize them. Student life is wonderful by its  possibilities. And this is one single team that promotes its  profession, its  educational institution. "

Evgeny Efimov said that the festival allows us all together to plunge into the different countries, to look into the different cultures, traditions and see the beauty of the people, whose students are enrolled in universities in Tatarstan. Today the scene is filled with love and kindness to your own  homeland. And  it is  great   that, despite the differences in language, appearance, character and opinions, we are united in one, we want to live on a planet where there is peace, harmony and respect for the cultures and traditions of all peoples.

Apropos, Tatarstan - one of the leading regions of Russia  by  the number of foreign students.  In the Republic of  more than 8000   students  are educated. In total, they represent 93 countries. This year's festival brought together participants from countries such as Swaziland, Colombia, Cuba, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, as well as CIS countries.

Today, the festival participants performed folk, classical and modern dance, music, theater studies and other genre of art items. They were  accompanied by professional artists, including folk ensemble "Vorozheyar", dance group "Mix style", a soloist of the State folk ensemble of  Kryashens "Bermyanchek" Marina Karpova, etc.

Concert items  alternated with awards ceremony in different categories. Grand Prix of the festival was handed    by Vasil Shaikhraziev and Chairman of the Youth Assembly of the Peoples of Tatarstan Timur Kadyrov.

The award  received   a student   of KNRTU-KAI Khalid Aliyu of  Niger. His reading of the poem about the Great Patriotic War    by Tatar  poet, Hero of the Soviet Union Musa Jalil  called sincere emotion and audience burst into applause.
