Competition for the Best bureau of the Virtual Museum of the Great Patriotic War in the Republic of Tatarstan

From December 1 to 31, 2015,  Tatarstan  holds  a competition for the best correspondent office  of the Virtual Museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945., created by the decision of the Government of the Republic to perpetuate the memory of our fellow countrymen - the participants and war veterans and home front workers, accessibility  of  museum, archive and library collections, getting  information on the activities of search  and veterans' organizations, municipal districts.

Currently, there are  more than 30 bureaus  in the republic  - at museums, libraries, boards and executive committees of district administrations, which continue the implementation of this innovative project, replenish news site with  materials, information on museum exhibits and collections, their fellow countrymen.

"The Best correspondent point" is intended to determine the extent of involvement of regional bureaus in shaping the content of the Virtual Museum of the Great Patriotic War during the entire 2015. Competition Commission will consider all articles published on the website http://tatfrontu.ru/.

The main objectives of the competition - to stimulate creativity and personal interest of  bureaus administrators in improving the quality of materials being placed and further development of the Virtual Museum; replenishment of the content databases of municipal museums  by new images of museum objects and annotations to them. Particular attention will be given to the news media, the volume and quality of information on museum collections and participants in the war. The contest is held in four nominations:

- The most active bureau in the news (in Russian);

- The most active in the news bureau (Tatar);

- The most complete and high-quality content, meeting  all requirements for the materials placed;

- The best manager bureau.

In each of them a  winner  will be determined. Results of the contest will be announced on the members of the tender committee from  January 15   to 30, awarding certificates and prizes will be held in February 2016.
