The main phase of the international contest "Tatar mony" starts

The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan announced the beginning of the main phase of the International TV contest of young performers "Tatar mony."

In total, this year's competition received 302 applications. Of these - 156 from the Russian regions and 146 municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan. As a result of the qualifying rounds in the II round appeared to be  74 contestants - 30 of them are Russian regions and CIS countries.

The competition takes place in three stages: I stage - selection; II and III stages - TV, will take place in November in Kazan and will go live on the TV channel "Tatarstan - New Age» (II round will air 23, 24 and 25 November at 22.00, and Round III, viewers will see 26 and 27 November  at   22.00PM).

In 2015, I round took place in 8 cities - Tashkent, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ufa, Dyurtyuli (Bashkortostan), Kazan, Yelabuga, Zainsk.

Also, the contestants were selected at festivals, contests held  by Tatar public organizations in Magnitogorsk, Yekaterinburg, Asekeevo (Orenburg region).

Geography of the  Competition in 2015 is  wide - Tashkent (Uzbekistan) Turkistan (Kazakhstan), Moscow, St. Petersburg, Magnitogorsk, Ekaterinburg, Chkalovsk, Asekeevo, Orenburg, Surgut, Ulyanovsk, Nizhny Tagil, Perm, Tyumen, Omsk and the Omsk region, Orsk, Chelyabinsk and Chelyabinsk region (Ozersk, Miass), Kurgan Oblast, Mari El Republic, Ufa, Dyurtyuli, Kazan and others.

Gala concert of the International TV contest of young performers "Tatar mony" will be held on November 29, at 18.00 in the KRK "Pyramid".

We remind  the  purpose of the contest is to promote the Tatar folk songs and works by  Tatar composers, introducing them to a national cultural values, identify and support talented young artists for  developing  their creative potential.

The objectives of the contest  is  in  disseminating  and promotion of Tatar folk and professional music,  and to identify the best young artists of the Tatar folk songs and works   by  Tatar composers.
