The 5th creative competition of small architectural forms "Alga (Forward)" devoted to the Year of parks and gardens in the Republic of Tatarstan held

From October 22 to 26, 2015, the exhibition complex "Kazanskaya Yarmarka (Kazan Fair)" organized the seventh specialized exhibition "Art Gallery. Kazan 2015 ".   Within the exhibition sponsored by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan the 5th creative competition of small architectural forms "Alga" devoted to the Year of parks and gardens in the Republic of Tatarstan   took place.

This year's competition was aimed at solving urgent problems of improvement of the urban environment and was conducted in four categories:

- "Projects of improvement of pedestrian zones"

- "Projects of improvement of parks, gardens, squares, fountains'

- "Elements of  beatification  and  finishing facades"

- "Small architectural forms".

The competition was attended by practicing authors, organizations, university students and    graduates, students,  pupils of secondary vocational schools and graduate students of art and general education schools of the Republic of Tatarstan. Total to the Competition Commission  23 bids have been submitted. October 22, 2015 on the basis of competitive selection,  the tender commission decided to award the prizes  to 8 contestants.
