"The Many Faces of Russia" in Tatarstan

From   October 27 to 29   Kazan will host an inter-regional Phase III All-Russia festival-competition of orchestras and ensembles of national instruments of peoples of Russia, "The Many Faces of Russia".

The festival is held in the framework of the federal target program "Culture of Russia". Organizers of the festival The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the State Russian House of Folk Arts, Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Republican center of traditional culture.

It is noteworthy that the festival is timed to the 100th anniversary of the State Russian House of Folk Art, which is celebrated this year.

Participants of the festival - instrumental ensembles of the Republic of Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Udmurtia, Chuvashia, Mari El, Primorye, Perm edge, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Tula region, Moscow.

Listening the collectives will take place on October 28 in the sanatorium "Livadia".

Gala concert of the festival-contest will be held on October 29 in the concert hall of the Tatar State Philharmonic named after G.Tukai. Beginning at 17.00.

It should be noted that this festival was already   held in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2010.
