Culture Minister Airat Sibagatullin meets with members of the jury of XI Kazan International Muslim Film Festival

Today, September 10,  Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan  Ayrat Sibagatullin  has met  with   jury  of the  XI Kazan International Muslim Film Festival.

The meeting took place at the Ministry of Culture of Tatarstan, it was attended by film director, screenwriter Elyor Ishmukhamedov (Uzbekistan), director Rashid Nugmanov (Kazakhstan), actress Mirdza Martinsone (Latvia) and director Ildar Yagafarov (Russia).  Head of sector of RT MC   cinematography Svetlana Yunusova   was present at the meeting.

According to the famous film director Elyor Ishmuhamedov,  organization of the competition was at a decent level. The guests noted high level of the works selected in the competition program. Also, a proposal  has been supported  to organize a regional competition of  films with  discussion within the framework of the festival with round tables and master classes.

Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan thanked the members of the jury for the great work done.

We remind  that films having won  the  XI KMFMC will be announced tomorrow at the closing ceremony.  10 statuettes on nominations  to be awarded  as well as special prizes.
