The main theme of the forum will be a large-scale domestic and international practice in the field of conservation and restoration of historical and cultural heritage.
Industry experts from various regions of Russia, possessing unique experience in the field of restoration works and projects, exchange experience with leading international experts, representing the western restoration school. Leaders and specialists of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, representatives of federal and regional authorities will take part in the Congress.
Russia - one of the oldest countries in the world, has a rich ancient history. Today in Russia there are about 140 thousand valuable objects. Of these, 25 thousand - historical and cultural monuments of federal significance. 26 sites included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, additional 24 - claim to getting there.
Preserving the rich cultural heritage of our country - one of the primary tasks of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. And to solve this problem two years ago, large-scale event was organized in which leading domestic and foreign experts and restorers were able to share experiences, discuss and find solutions to the pressing problems of the industry.
I International Congress of the restorers, held in September, the 2013th, gave a new impetus to the development of this industry in our country. More than a thousand experts gathered in Moscow's House of Unions discussed the most important issues relating to the conservation, restoration and effective use of monuments of history and culture.
