The famous Israeli singer Hanan Yovel will perform at the IV International Festival of Jewish music in Tatarstan. An outstanding bard, a public's favorite, the man who is called "a model of modern Israeli culture," Yovel is the author of more than 400 songs and founder of many musical festivals in the country. Songs by Hanan Yovel, as they say in the press, are characterized by a "special depth and emotion" and "able to miraculously pass the magical beauty of Israel." One can hear them at the opening concert on September 3, on Profsoyuznaya street as well as at the closing gala on September 6 in KSC KGU "Unix".
Another guest from Israel will be the team «Gefilte Drive», having gathered, as often happens in this country, talented musicians "of all the countries of Exodus" – chief of the band, Alexander Cotler and singer Irene Rosenfeld came from Ukraine, accordionist Cyril Adylin from Estonia, musicians Vitaly Leschets Mark Umansky and Nadezhda Drapkina from Russia, Nadezhda was born and raised in Kazan. The team performs klezmer modernized, "stuffed with east and west, kosher rock 'n' roll and the urban romance, Odessa recklessness and lyrical sound."
