May 9, at 9:00 am, the Showroom "The old water tower" hosts an exhibition of drawings by a veteran, artist Djagfar Gizatovich Bulat (1903-1981) from the collections of the Republic of Tatarstan "Island Sviyazhsk", dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
D.G.Bulat (Bulat-Timur) - graphic artist, painter, teacher, considered to be one of the first artists of battle genre in art of Tatarstan. His works are stored in the State Museum of Fine Arts, the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan . A large collection of drawings D.G.Bulata (over 100 items) came in 2014 to the State Historical and Architectural Museum "The Island of Sviyazhsk."
This exhibition presents about 40 paintings by D.G.Bulat made at the front. Among them are landscapes, urban scenes, genre scenes, portraits of friends and colleagues.
Sketches of frontline everyday by artist D.G.Bulat - a picturesque chronicle of the war, everyday life in the war. They are important not only as an event to whose participant he was, but as perception of those events by him, individual and unique. In addition, at the exhibition will possible to see personal belongings of the artist, some of which have been with him since those early war years.
