Puppet Theatre "Ekiyat" will please by latest premiere

Tatar State Puppet Theatre "Ekiyat" will delight   by latest premiere of "The Wizard of Oz," based on the story by Alexander Volkov, in a dramatization of Anna Bogacheva.

The director of the performance -  Honored worker of arts of Russia and Tatarstan Ildus Zinnurov, art director – Lilia  Zhamaletdinova (St. Petersburg), composer - Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan  Yuri Chaplin, plastics - Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan  Guzal Mannapova.

By popular demand of the spectators  this offer  has been  included in a plan: the results of audience surveys show that many people want to see this story on the stage of Puppet Theatre "Ekiyat."

Tale and material known to viewers for a long time, but the goal is the director and production designer known material to modernize and make it relevant and youth.

 "This is a play about friendship, about magic, about the exciting adventures of unusual characters. Young viewers will be able, together with the little girl Ellie and her friends to go to a magical land, where they will find a lot of surprises ", -  director of the play Ildous Zinnurov   said.

Arts Council  of  the Theatre has taken  already the  sketches of scenery and costumes, dolls, detailed developments (outline drawings).

The premiere is scheduled for the month of October, the press service of the theater  informs.
