Yesterday, May 5, selling tickets started for performances of the XII International theater festival "Nauruz", which is to be held in Kazan from June 1 to 5. Showings of the Festival will be held at the Kamal, Tinchurin, Kachalov, Russian and Tatar Youth theaters. Tickets can be purchased at the box office, as well as by the Internet.
The organizers of "Nauruz" have repeatedly stated that this year the festival's program is significantly different from the repertoire of past years. Firstly, for the first time the festival is dedicated to the theatrical culture of one of the participating countries - Kazakhstan. Secondly, within the festival a landmark for the world community theater event will be held - the International Conference "Vector of Development of Theatre: Europe and Asia." Third, the program of XII «Nauruz" is compressed significantly, due to the reduction of festival budget. However, even this played into the hands of the project - they had to tighten the selection of performances.
As a result, the poster XII «Nauruz" accounted for 17 the best performances of Azerbaijan, Altai, Dagestan, Kazakhstan, Crimea, Turkey, Tatarstan, Tuva, Khakassia and Yakutia. Here Shakespeare's "Titus Andronicus" and "The Taming of the Shrew" and ethnic parable "The Legend of Korkut", "Ayraz Batyr", national classics and contemporary plays. Among the performances of the participating directors - iconic names Barzu Abdurazakov, Ayrat Abushakhmanov Farid Bikchantaev, Jonas Vaitkus and many others, the press service of the festival informs.
