Kazan will host the International Children's Film Festival "Sovenok (owlet)"

May 29-30, 2015, Kazan will host the II International Children's Film Festival - Competition "Sovenok (owlet)". Young film enthusiasts between the ages of 5 to 23 years will come together in the capital of Tatarstan. The festival will feature a competition works in the categories "feature film", "non-fiction film", "news stories", "advertising", "music video", "animation", "mobile video."

The aim of the festival - search for talented and gifted children, support and encouraging youth groups and individual authors, whose activity is connected with the art of cinema and television. Film Festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Department of Education of the city of Kazan. Direct organization and holding of the festival provides children and youth camp "Erudit" and the tourist company "Agency of adventure."

To participate in the competition amateur films and videos shot by children and young people on the topics: manifestation of good, environmental protection, ethnic flavor, the dialogue of nations, intergenerational dialogue, patriotism and love for his native land, their city, traditions and customs, social problem are accepted.
