Kazan Conservatory - the same age as the Victory

In the year of the Great Victory over fascism by decision of the Soviet leadership Kazan State Conservatory was created, which has been functioning since October 1, 1945.

The first rector was the People's Artist of the USSR Nazib Gayazovich Zhiganov, and since December 1988 to the present the conservatory has been directing by People's Artist of Russia Rubin K. Abdullin.

This year, the Conservatory is celebrating its 70th anniversary, and dedicates to a significant the festival "Kazan Conservatory - the same age as the Victory." Concert events will be held at the State Big Concert Hall after S. Saidashev.

The opening concert will be held on April 23, students and teachers of the conservatory - winners of international competitions will perform this evening. In addition to solo performances, it will be possible to hear a string trio and quartet, brass quintet, folk ensemble, the quartet of guitarists group "Unison of balalaika", as well as ensemble of domrists "Premiere". The concert starts at 18:30.

On the same day at the main school building of the conservatory opens International Scientific Conference "Music as a national art world", which is to run until April 25. The forum is expected to present performances by leading scientists from Russia, Germany, Israel, China, Kazakhstan and Ukraine.

A Gala evening dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Kazan Conservatory will be held on April 28 at 17:00. The main anniversary concert will be featured by musicians who received international recognition - People's Artist of Russia Rubin Abdullin and folk artists of Tatarstan Albina Shagimuratova and Rem Urasin.

The Kazan Conservatory Symphony Orchestra in the evening will run three conductors - maestro Leo Kremer, Honored Artist of Tatarstan Rinat Halitov and Artem Abashev. The program will also include performances by the Choir of students under direction of the Honored Artist of Russia Vladislav Lukyanov.

A program called "bow to those great years" on April 30 at 16:00 will be presented by Brass Band of the Kazan Conservatory under the direction of Honored Artist of Russia Valery Utkin and students of vocal faculty.

Opera "The Dawns Here Are Quiet" by Kirill Molchanov will be delivered on May 5 at 18:30, the director - People's Artist of Tatarstan Eduard Treskin.

Soloists of the Opera Studio of the Kazan Conservatory, this time will perform with the collective of the Kazan Musical College named after I.V. Aukhadeev - Choir Singers and Symphony Orchestra conducted by Honored Artist of Russia Vladimir Vasiliev.

Anniversary festival will end on May 7 by a traditional celebratory concert of the orchestra "Tatarica" directed by ​​ Rinat Khalitov. Together with students and graduates of the vocal faculty the orchestra will unveil a musical-literary composition "Songs, scorched by war", dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The concert starts at 18:30.
