First time a festival "Vladimir Spivakov invites" in Kazan

April 20-21, in Kazan for the first time a festival "Vladimir Spivakov invites" takes place. Within the project on the stage of S. Saidash SGCH performs the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia under Vladimir Spivakov. In Kazan, the collective will present two big programs.

Last night a divertissement from the opera "Sid" by J. Massenet, Violin Concerto in E minor by Mendelssohn sounded, whose lead singer is a well- known young violinist Sergei Dogadin, and Tchaikovsky Symphony №5.

The concert on April 21 will perform symphonic introductions, overtures, scenes and arias from operas by Bellini, Donizetti, Massenet, Gounod, Saint-Saens and Meyerbeer. A soloist of the concert will be the People's Artist of Tatarstan Albina Shagimuratova. In an interview with journalist Sergei Dogadin said that Violin Concerto in E minor by Mendelssohn for him is the very first. He started playing it at 10 years old. Sergey Doganin plays the violin of the Italian master Gaetano Antoniazzi made in Milan in the second half of the XIX century. He won it at the III International Violin Competition named after Yu.I.Yankelevich. "We are very pleased to come to Kazan and it not the first time. We have many links with your republic, first of all we appreciate Albina Shagimuratova. We consider her one of the most outstanding lady singers in the world. We stand with her more often than with other wonderful soprano. Already today she might be called a great singer. We helped Sergei Dogadin to win the Tchaikovsky competition a few years ago. Vladimir Spivakov very gently refers to him. We had planned to give three concerts in Kazan, but not always we have enough money, so we were as much as we would like, so it's only two shows. We will be happy to work here more.
