"Ladomir" Yelabuga

The Yelabuga State Museum-Reserve once again hosted the festival of contemporary poetry named after Velimir Khlebnikov "Ladomir", which was held in Kazan and Yelabuga from April 16 to 19.

April 18, the poets from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan and Baku were on the "Festival of Poetry" in an auditorium of Yelabuzhsky Institute of Kazan Federal University. Festival participants read out their poems and said parting words to the audience - students of the institute.

After performances, our guests left for a sightseeing tour of Yelabuga city and the Yelabuga State Museum-Reserve: the poets visited Elabuzhsky old town, the Museum of the city's history, the House-Museum I.I. Shishkin, the Museum of the county of Medicine named after V.M. Bekhterov and Museum Workshop of arts and crafts.

The third day of poetic Forum ended by a visit to Elabuzhsky orphanage, where for its fosterlings an evening of poetry was held.

April 19, "Khlebnikovtsers " visited the Petropavlovsk cemetery where they laid flowers on the grave of Marina Tsvetaeva. Then they went to the Memorial of the poetess, visited the House of Memory, "Portomoyne", some - even the Pokrovsky Cathedral. After that the program of the festival continued in the Library of the Silver Age, where the creative meeting with one of the participants of the festival - a poet, professor of Russian State Humanitarian University, researcher of Russian avant-garde Yuri Orlicko (Moscow) was held.

He spoke about the trends and directions of modern poetry. So, now among the authors it is becoming increasingly popular desire to create for their creations a certain atmosphere that they were perceived by readers as the author wants it: for example, to add a sound, visual accompaniment.

By the way, some of the participants of the Khlebnikov’s festival also use these techniques: someone singing, someone reading poetry with jingle bell. However, at the meeting in the Library the participants enjoyed s music: the famous composer Zubarzhat Sadykova presented two of her works.

The evening program and all Khlebnikov’s festival has completed by dinner at the Museum-Theatre "Tavern", which, hosted the poets two of these days, the press service of RT YeSMR informs.
