The G.Tukai Tatar State Philharmonic congratulated jazz orchestra conductor Anatoly Vasilevsky

On April 8, the G.Tukai Tatar State Philharmonic holds a jubilee evening of Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, conductor of the Philharmonic Jazz Orchestra, Professor Anatoly Alexandrovich Vasilevsky.

The evening began with greetings. RT Deputy Minister of Culture Persova Svetlana Glebovna handed celebrant a letter of gratitude from the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan. The letter has the following lines: "Dear Anatoly! Impossible to overestimate your contribution to the development of jazz music in the Republic of Tatarstan. A magnificent expert on history and theory of jazz music, wide practices, skillfully wielding various jazz technologies - You are a worthy successor of the best jazz traditions laid Oleg by Lundstrem".

On behalf of the creative sections of jazz music of the Moscow Union of Composers the celebrant was congratulated by the People's Artist of Russia Anatoly Kroll. "When we say "Kazan"- always mean Anatoly Vasilevsky and jazz. And when we say "Anatoly Vasilevsky" - always mean Kazan and Jazz"- he said in his congratulatory speech.

There were also greetings from the staff of the Kazan State University of Culture and Arts, the International Festival «Jazz in Rostowski» a medal from the Kazan Tank School.
