The project "City - ART- preparation" will contribute to the strengthening of cultural ties between Russia and Switzerland

The II Youth Laboratory  "City –art- preparation" will be held in the framework of the «Swiss Made in Russia. Exchange in the field of contemporary culture 2013-2015 ", initiated by the Swiss Council for Culture" Pro Helvetia ",  with the support of the Swiss Embassy in Russia.

We remind  that  the laboratory will be held from  June 5 to 13 in Kazan.

First, the  laboratory "ART-preparation " was held in May 2014. A unique project  took part  filmmakers from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Berlin. This year's "ART-preparation will be held from  June  5 to 13 and promises new dimensions, locations and ideas.

The project will bring together filmmakers, artists and actors from Switzerland, Russia and Tatarstan. For the first time in the history of the republic,  a laboratory work  will be dedicated to children's theater. Participants in the "ART-preparation" will present sketches of performances for adult audiences, and for young children (4-7 years),  school (7 years) age. Thus, the final II Youth theater laboratory "City –art- preparation "will be available for  visit by  Kazaners for  all ages. Entrance to the shows  is  still free.

Swiss Council for Culture "Pro Helvetia" - is a public foundation that deals with the development of art in Switzerland, promoting the growth of cultural exchanges in the country, as well as support for   Swiss culture abroad, promoting the dissemination of information about it. Foundation "Pro Helvetia" supports cultural projects in different ways: on the basis of submitted applications via a network of cultural centers in their own programs, as well as the use of information and promotional materials.

The program “Swiss made in Russia” has been initiated by "Pro Helvetia". Exchange in the field of contemporary culture 2013-2015 "was launched in November 2012. The program supports the Swiss-Russian projects in the field of contemporary art (architecture, music, theater, literature, contemporary dance, visual arts, and others.), whose purpose - to exchange experiences and strengthen ties between cultural institutions of both countries. Since the end of 2012, the program  has  been  implemented  in  more than 80 projects in 46 cities of Russia.
