Greeting by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan A.M.Sibagatullin on the occasion of Jewish Passover

I warmly congratulate the Jewish community in the Republic of Tatarstan on the occasion of Passover.

Passover - one of the major Jewish holidays, reminds an important milestone in its history - getting rid of centuries of slavery and receiving the Ten Commandments, calls believers to spiritual and moral values, ideals of freedom, goodness and justice, which are of paramount universal significance.

For many years, the Jewish community of Tatarstan is working hard to preserve the cultural heritage and increase the traditions of friendship in our country, making a significant contribution to the development of inter-ethnic and inter-religious dialogue, peace and stability, promoting the principles of morality and humanity in our society.

I wholeheartedly join to the delight of all the Jews living in the multinational Tatarstan. I wish you good health, peace, joy and blessed success in future endeavors.
