A Charitable Foundation "Happy Stories" announced the launch of the second season of the competition for the II Republican independent children's literary prize "Glagolitza"

On March 18, the news agency "Tatar-Inform" held a press conference on the launch of II Republican independent children's literary prize "Glagolitza".

The discussion was attended by Irina Khusnutdinova - Chairman of the Board of the Foundation for Child Support "Happy  Stories", Dmitry Schiller - Chairman of the regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society of the Republic of Tatarstan, Deliya Khairutdinova - Head of professional art and art education of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, Lilia Gazizova - poet, translator, essayist, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, Anna Russ - Russian poet.

Chairman of the Foundation opened the press conference, describing the innovations of  II season award "Glagolitza". The organizers reserve the same format and conditions of the tender, except for a few things: a list of nominations "Poetry in the Tatar language" added  in the age groups of 10 to 13 years and from 14 to 17 years, and the prize fund has been  replenished   by  e-book for the winners of II degree. Also,  a member of the expert jury included Lilia  Gazizova - poet, translator, essayist, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Irina Khusnutdinova thanked the partners of the competition: "I often say that it is necessary to combine efforts in order to get the good projects. Last  year we did it. Thanks to  the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, we quickly have  distributed 700 posters throughout Tatarstan, and 366 children from 30 districts were able to take part in the competition. The Ministry of Culture provided a room for the ceremony. Contestants from all over the Republic, many of which were for the first time in Kazan were delighted by the puppet theater "Ekiyat." Thanks to the assistance of the Russian Geographical Society of the Republic of Tatarstan, the children were able to participate in master classes with famous travelers and explorers ... ".

According to the organizers, the competition was a success and received a lot of positive feedback from the children and their parents. In addition, after the  1 season many skeptical parents had no doubt that the  contest and prizes are real.  The works  by  winners and guys, which have been  included in the long list was published in  anthology "Glagolitza  2014".

After awarding  the  Foundation continues to work with the participants of the competition, organizing and inviting them to a meeting with poets and writers of Russia and the Republic: "We want to come out of the children  true  writers and poets, so eminent writers deal with them, who share with them their experience. This is a unique chance for the guys to get really valuable advice. "

Competition for the II Republican independent children's literary prize "Glagolitza" - is not only an opportunity for the children to show their literary abilities  to the  world, but also an opportunity for parents to better understand their children. Dmitry Schiller  is  not only the chairman of the Russian Geographical Society of Tatartsan, but is also  father, commented on the importance of the competition with the words: "Adults do a lot in order to better understand the children, but we speak different languages. Through this competition, namely in terms of works ,  written  by  children, it is  possible better to  understand them. "

Lilia  Gazizova noted the importance of competition for the society: "Great idea, great project. The organizers of the contest,   holding prize awards , making the almanac with the works of children, and  already now,   me  as well,  have   invested in personality development of a child.  It is likely  these children  to  become a spiritual elite of  the  society.
