From February 21 to 28, the State Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Alexander Sladkovsky for the second time presents in Kazan a music festival "Creative Discoveries." This is a joint project of the RT GSO and Alexander Sladkovsky with the Moscow Philharmonic Society and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. As part of the creative landing - young, talented musicians, graduates of the Moscow Conservatory, winners of international competitions - Lucas Geniushas, Aylen Pritchin, Alexey Chernov, Ivan and Mikhail Pochekins, Yuri Favorin, Pavel Miliukov, Alexander Ramm and Philip Kopachevski.
The festival is scheduled for three concerts. February 21 and 25, the orchestra to be conducted by Stanislaw Kochanowski and Denis Lotto. Feb. 28, the final day of the festival, the conductor's stand to hold artistic director and chief conductor of the RT GSO Alexander Sladkovsky.
The festival will feature the works of Beethoven, Mozart, Brahms, Gershwin, Tchaikovsky, Sergei Prokofiev.
