The puppet theater "Ekiyat" prepares the premiere for adults

The  Tatar State Puppet Theatre "Ekiyat" rehearsals Georgian performance for adults "Khanuma"  by  Auxentios Tsagareli. In the workshops of the theater costumes  are sewn,  decorations are being prepared , dolls are made.

We remind  that the last time "performance for adults" was on stage puppet theater in 1997, it was called "The Trouble from the Tender Heart" by V. Sologub, and theater old-timers say that production enjoyed success  among the adult population of Kazan.

"The audience often ask us," What do you have for adults? – tells   main theater director Ildus Zinnurov. - We thought long and hard, what   to propose to  the attention of an adult audience and decided to stop on the play "Khanuma". The play   is and musical.  "Khanuma" is not a lightweight story, typical of modern concepts, but a sparkling idea that good triumphs over evil, that love and happiness  are possible in the world. "

Stage director - Honored Artist of Russia and Tatarstan Ildus Zinnurov. Production Designer - Zakhar Davydov (St. Petersburg), winner of the "Golden Mask". Music for this production written by USSR People's Artist (1988), laureate of the State Prize of the USSR Giya Kancheli.

Premiere of "Khanuma" will be held April 2, 2015, the press service of the theater informs.
