Minister of Culture of the Republic Tatarstan: "The relations between the peoples in Tatarstan are our main asset"

In Kazan, the preliminary results of the implementation of state programs on national policy in the Republic of Tatartsan and the preservation of national identity of the Tatar people were discussed.

Yesterday in Kazan at the enlarged meeting of the Public Council under the   RT Ministry of Culture preliminary results of the 2014 state programs "Implementation of the State National Policy of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014-2020." and "preservation of national identity of the Tatar people (2014-2016)  were summed up ".

"Peace and friendship among peoples, relations between the peoples in Tatarstan are our main asset.  Preservation of inter-ethnic harmony is a priority in public policy. Today we can say that in Tatarstan  a constructive dialogue  between  public authorities, national, cultural, social organizations, representatives of the education system, culture, science, the media has been  established , "- said the Minister of Culture Ayrat Sibagatullin, opening the meeting.

Deputy Minister of Culture of Tatarstan Guzel Nigmatullina reported that the Ministry of Culture of Tatarstan is the state customer and coordinator of the two programs. Also, the agency is the executor of cultural events program. The amount of funding in 2014, the program "Implementation of the state national policy in the Republic of Tatasrtan for 2014-2020." (70 events) amounted to about 61 million rubles, of which the Republican funds - 39 million 324 thousand  rubles and federal - 21.6 million  rubles. According to the program "Preservation of national identity   of Tatars (2014-2016 years .)" (42 events) from the national budget 33.5 million rubles were allocated.

Last year, participation in cultural activities under these programs took 200 thousand people.

"All the activities were aimed at creating conditions to meet the needs of ethnic and cultural representatives of different nations. In particular, mechanisms have been developed for a variety of cultural activities,  a  competitive platform with the ability to popularize the art of the people, promote the conservation and development of traditions and languages of the peoples was created", - Deputy Minister of Culture of Tatarstan said.

As noted in his  report on the implementation of the state national policy in Tatartsan in 2014, Deputy Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan Clara Tazetdinova,    the Office organized courses on the history of Russia and the basics of Russian legislation for migrant workers. For organization of courses for 200 migrants  2 million. rubles    were allocated  for co-financing of the republican and federal budgets. As a result   241 migrants have passed training. The plans for this year – training   of  150 people.

"Changing the structure of foreign labor, priority is given to the growth of the share of foreign workers who have involved in investment projects. Over the year, we see that investment projects attract  every second of foreign workers in the republic, "- she said.

Head of the Department of National Education, Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan Lilia Akhmetzyanova told that department last year held intercollegiate festival "Day of  foreign students' cultural and educational project" Dialogue of Cultures ", Cyril and Methodius youth reading.  For the implementation of these activities 3.6 million rubles   were channeled, of which 1.5 million rubles from the budget of the Republic of Tatartsan, 2.1 million rubles - from the budget of the Russian Federation.

According to the Head of department working with children and youth organizations of the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Tatarstan  Vladislav Usanov, in 2014 the Ministry has  fixed for 10 events. 7 for the implementation of activities were provided to 3.7 million rubles from the republican budget and 5 million rubles - from the federal one. In particular, activities to promote national sports, familiarity with the culture of the peoples of Tatarstan, scientific infrastructure of the republic and others were   organized and carried out.

As  chief  of  science secretary of the Academy of Sciences   Dania Zagidullina informed, for the implementation of programs for the state national policy in the Republic of Tatarstan   3 million  811 thousand  rubles were allocated, of which - 3 million rubles - from the federal budget.

In preparation for the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War the Academy of Sciences organized a scientific study on "Socio-economic development of Tatarstan in the Great Patriotic War." Work will continue this year. Also, the results of two programs published  in 4 books, the publishing house  5 books  are stored,    11 books prepared for publishing.

First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars Renat Valiullin noted that in the framework of the program "Preservation of national identity of the Tatars (2014-2016 years .)" Last year the event was held with the participation of 41 organizations. 17 events were organized directly by the World Congress of Tatars (budget - 19 million  rubles). "We reacted reverently  to the implementation of the program, and from part of  our organization  100 has been performed," - he concluded.
