Today at the of RT Government, the year of culture has been summed up. Large-scale press conference, which was broadcast on the Internet, was attended by Minister of Culture Ayrat Sibagatullin, heads of major republican institutions of culture and art collectives.
Opening the meeting, Ayrat Sibagatullin said that this year would be remembered first and foremost by inclusion of the Bulgarian historical and archaeological complex in the UNESCO World Heritage List Site "Great work in this area has been conducted by the State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev with the support of the leadership of Tatarstan. At the ceremony certificate the UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova took part, "- he said.
This year was also the year of the project by international organization TURKSOY "Kazan - the cultural capital of the Turkic world." The program included 16 measures. Under its auspices, the VI Bulgarian forum and II Museum Forum TURKSOY Symposium "Outstanding educator of the Turkic world: Mehmet Akif Ersoy and Gabdulla Tukai", the conference on Intangible Cultural Heritage, the problems of development of cinema Turkic-speaking countries, the sources of literature and music of the Turkic world took place.
The Minister noted that 2014 was a year of landmark anniversaries. 140 years celebrated Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet Theatre after M. Jalil, 110 years - Kazan Musical College after I. Auhadeev, 80 years old - the Writers' Union of Tatarstan, 80 years - Tatar State Puppet Theatre "Ekiyat", 90 years - State Institution "Tatarkino ", 20 years - state historical-architectural and Art museum-Reserve" Kazan Kremlin "and others.
Ayrat Sibagatullin also reminded that in Kazan "Literary yards." took place ". Great event. I believe that in 2015 the need to conduct a "Literary yards" in the towns and villages of Tatarstan should be held. Especially, it will be the Year of Literature. Farid Bikchantaev, chief director of the Tatar State Academic Theatre named Kamal, said that in the Year of Culture in Tatarstan a lot of events had passed, including the theatrical life. Artistic director - director of the Kazan Academic Russian Drama Theatre named after V. Kachalov Alexander Slavutskii called a significant event for the theater the end of its reconstruction.
