Kazan will Host the Festival of Arts "Filarmoniada"

December 5 -14, the seventh time Kazan will host a festival of arts "Filarmoniada." Participants of the festival: People's Artist of the USSR, a laureate of the State Prize of the USSR Vladimir Zeldin; Soloists of the Mariinsky Theatre; leading artists of the Moscow theaters; Moscow Chamber Orchestra «Musica Viva»; the unique vocal group «Gospel Live Revue» (USA), a string quartet «Artnovi Quartet» (Moscow), the electronic band «Twins Piano Duo» (Moscow), Tae-Hyun Kim (South Korea); Master of Arts Turkic world; four times winner of the National Theatre Award "Golden Mask" theater "Yevgenia Panfilova Ballet"; Tatar state philharmonic bands.

Today, at the G.Tukai Tatar Philharmonic, a press conference was held dedicated to the VII International Festival of Arts "Filarmoniada."  Director of Tatar state philharmonic Kadim Nurullin, artistic director of the Tatar state philharmonic and folk music ensemble of the Republic of Tatarstan Aydar Faizrakhmanov, deputy director of concert work Renat Zakirov spoke with reporters.

The VII Festival "Filarmoniada" for nine evenings will feature more than 150 artists. At least 6,000 spectators are expected. The festival opens with a festive concert dedicated to the 85th anniversary of People's Artist of the USSR Alexandra Pakhmutova. A. Pakhmutova feature songs performed by soloists of the Mariinsky Theatre and the Tatar Philharmonic. The conductor of the State Ensemble of Folk Instruments of the Republic of Tatarstan will be maestro Anatoly Shutikov. For a good reason composer could not attend the concert, but will appeal to viewers across the screen.
