December 2, 2014, at 19.00, at the Kamal Tatar Academic Theatre, a gala concert of the VI International TV contest of young performers "Tatar mony" takes place.
The contest received more than 150 applications from Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan and regions, Ufa and Bashkortostan regions (October, Tuimazy, Ilishevsky, Yanaul, Krasnokamsk, Krasnoufimsk et al.), Moscow and Moscow region, Nizhny Novgorod region, Tyumen, Perm, Urengoy, Yekaterinburg, Asekeevo, Ulyanovsk and the Ulyanovsk region, Simferopol and others.
The contest was held in three stages: I stage – extra-mural, to be held at the Kazan State University of Culture and Arts on received applications with video and audio recordings from all regions of Tatarstan and Russia. In addition, the qualifying rounds were held in Kazan State Conservatoire, at the House of Asadullayevs in Moscow, in Ufa, Bashkir College of Art.
II and III rounds were held in the concert hall of Kazan University of Culture and Arts.
At present, all tickets for the gala concert have already been sold out. Rehearsals of the winners and students with an orchestra of folk instruments under the control of Rasim Ilyasova are under way. Many laureates will perform on stage with the winners of previous years, now, well-known artists of the Tatar music.
The VI competition differs from previous ones that this year in connection with the 65th anniversary of the legendary Tatar singer Haidar Bigichev, by PR Steering Committee decision a nomination "Academic vocal" was introduced, and many of the contestants performed the works from the singer’s repertoire.
