From December 8 to 10 in Kazan celebrations to mark the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Union of Composers of the Republic of Tatarstan to be held.

RT Composers Union - one of the largest and reputable composers in Russia, founded in 1939. It consists of professional composers and musicologists.

History of the Union of Composers is decorated with the names of prominent cultural figures such as Nazib Zhiganov (founder and first president of the Union of Composers), Salih Saidashev, Farid Yarullin Alexander Klyucharev, Mansour Muzafarov, Jawdat Faizi, Zagid Habibullin, Albert Lehmann, Mirsaid Yarullin, Almaz  Monasypov.

Among the most significant activities undertaken by the RT Union of Composers - RT Composers Union Congress (held 1 time in 5 years); International Festival of New Music "Europe-Asia" (since 1993., performed with a frequency of 1  in  2 years), the symphonic concerts of new works by composers of Tatarstan "New music composers of Tatarstan" at the State Grand Concert Hall after S. Saidashev (held 1 time per year), symphonic concerts of the "Pearls of Tatar music" (in existence since 2009, is supported by the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan), through which music of Tatarsan composers Tatarstan has got access to  the world stage, as well as annual jubilee concert dedicated to the Republic (symphonic, chamber, choral).
