In Kazan, a festival of "Hungarian kinofokus" to start

From Novembeer 24 to 28, a festival "Hungarian kinofokus" to start at the cinema MIR. The festival will present film critic and guest of the film festival in Kazan Ivan Forgách and director Szabolcs Hajdu. November 24 – 25, a creative meeting and presentation of the program to be held.

At the festival, "Hungarian kinofokus" the first-run movies are expected. One of them - a film "Mirage", directed by Szabolcs Hajdu. The film premiered in September of this year at the International Festival in Toronto, in Russia for the first time the film will be shown during the festival of Hungarian cinema in Kazan.

The film tells the story of African football, living in a small Hungarian town. He commits an offense and is forced to hide in the run. He finds refuge on a farm deep in the Hungarian wilderness. But he soon realizes that this farm is a modern slave camp, where he will have to fight for his life and freedom.

Another premier - is the film "The White God" (directed by Kornél Mundruczó). The film was awarded the Palm Dog at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014, and was nominated for the award "Oscar" in the category "Best Foreign Film". For Kazan viewers it will be a pre-premiere screening at the "Hungarian kinofokus", the movie will appear in cinemas in Russia in 2015.

13-year-old Lily is trying to protect  her  pet Hagen. Father shocked her when released  the dog   into the wild. But believing that love can triumph over any difficulties, Lily decides to find her  dog and rescue him.

Among the films of the festival - the picture   "White palm",  in 2008, it  was awarded a special prize at the festival in Karlovy Vary. In 2013, this film was presented in a non-competitive section of the Kazan Film Festival.

Teamwork of  the  USSR and Hungary - the movie "Stars and soldiers" will also be presented in the framework of the "Hungarian kinofokus." The film tells about the participation of the Hungarian Red Guards in the civil war in Russia.  One of the Hungarian troops  is broken.  Yong soldier   Laszlo  managed to escape to the monastery, where the Hungarians stay. But   the  white squad   bursts  in   and shoots fighters for the revolution. However,  Tatar Chingiz, Laszlo and Andrassy and Russian sailor manage to break out of the city ...

Also in the festival program    includes  the film  by  B.Tarr   "The Turin Horse", which tells about the strange incident that occurred in 1889 on the streets of the Italian city of Turin. The coachman lashed whip on   his old horse that refused to budge. Suddenly,   a well-dressed man with a bushy mustache   ran up to the cart,  and put his arm around the animal's neck, while sobbing bitterly. It was none other than the world famous philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche.  He was  hardly taken away from the horse, and when brought home, it turned out that he was out of his mind. Nietzsche was placed in a mental hospital, where he spent the rest of his life ...
