Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan met with the delegation of Turkmenistan

In the framework of the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Tatarstan Minister of Culture Ayrat Sibagatullin met  with the delegation of Turkmenistan headed by the Deputy Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan Atageldy Shamuradov at  the Ministry of Culture of Tatarstan. The meeting was also attended by the editor –in-chief of the State Committee on Television, Broadcasting and Cinematography Turkmenistan Altyn Khommadova, operator of the State Committee on Television, Broadcasting and Cinematography Turkmenistan Murad Charydurdyevich Geldyev, a correspondent of the magazine "Gunesh", national writer of  Turkmenistan Atamurad Atabaev.

"The Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Tatarstan will be an outstanding event in the cultural life of Tatarstan, to get closer our fraternal peoples, will be a worthy contribution to the development of Russian-Turkmen cooperation", - said the Minister of Culture of Tatarstan at  the meeting with the delegation of Turkmenistan.

The meeting was also attended by Tatarstan's Plenipotentiary Representative in Turkmenistan  Haidar  Galiev and head of the national cultural autonomy of the Turkmen Republic of Tatarstan - an active member of the Assembly of the Peoples of Tatarstan Vela Nursakhatov, who spoke about the work and future plans of the Autonomy.

During the meeting, it was noted the active participation of scientific and creative intelligentsia of Tatarstan in the activities of the International Organization declared by TURKSOI the Year of  Makhtumkuli, an outstanding  Turkmen poet and thinker.
