Kazan will host the final of the Republican contest of readers of poetry by Gaviil Derzhavin and Solemn Awarding Ceremony

Finals and the awarding ceremony of the Republican contest of readers of poetry by Gavriil Derzhavin to be held on November 27, 2014 at club named after of G.Tukay of RT Writers Union.

Starting full-time stage of the competition at 10.00. The ceremony of awarding at 14.00

Competition has caused great interest on the part of teachers, children and youth. It was attended by more than 300 pupils of secondary schools, gymnasiums and lyceums of the Republic of Tatarstan. At the preliminary stage, the jury, under the terms of the contest, watched videos sent-performance and sorted out 30 contestants to participate in the final.

The Republican contest of readers of poetry by Gavriil Derzhavin in Kazan is held for the first time. The purpose of the contest - aesthetic taste of education of children and youth on the basis of the best examples of classical Russian literature, promote creativity by Gavriil Derzhavin, attracting to reading and studying Russian literature, identification of gifted children.
