Famous archaeologists from all over Russia will gather in Kazan

We invite you to take part in the coverage of events   of the IV (XX) All-Russian Archaeological Congress in Kazan. The congress, organized by the Institute of Archaeology, Russia Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Archaeology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan University, Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of the Russia Academy of Sciences, Institute of History of Material Culture and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan to held in Kazan from  October 20 to 25, 2014.

October 20, at 10.00pm,   the   RT  Ministry of Culture  (Pushkin Str., 66/33) holds  a press conference on the opening the  IV (XX) All-Russian Archaeological Congress in Kazan. About the program and  the congress are due to tell the following  participants:

1. Anatoly P. Derevyanko, Academician, Director of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of the Russia Academy of Sciences

2. Sulejmanov Dzhavdet Shevketovich, Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan, Vice-President of the Republic of Tatarstan

3. Makarov Nikolai Andreyevich, Academician, Director of the Institute of Archaeology, Russia Academy of Sciences

4. Sitdikov Ayrat Gabitovich, Doctor of History, Director of the RT Institute of Archaeology

5. Persova Svetlana Glebovna,    RT Deputy Minister of Culture 

October 20,  at 14.00, at  the KSK KFU "Unix", the   Opening Ceremony and Plenary Session to take place. The meeting will be attended by prominent archaeologists from all over Russia, as well as representatives of the Republic of Tatarstan.
