October 16, at 14.00, the Literary-Memorial Museum "Teacher's House" of the Tchistopolsky State Museum held a literary meeting "On military roads of Alexei Surkov," dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the poet and social activist Alexei Alexandrovich Surkov.
Alexei Surkov - songwriter of well- known patriotic songs: "Zemlyanka" music by K. Listov, 1941), "The Song of the brave" (music by B. White, 1941), "The Song of the defenders of Moscow" (music by B. Mokrousov, 1942) and others.
In the creative heritage of the poet's many verses related to Tchistopol city. Among them is "Zemlyanka ", and a cycle of poems "Letters to far." These works were written during the period 1941-1943. and addressed to his wife - Sophia Antonovna Krevs, who lived in the evacuation in Tchistopol. The poet came to his family from the front several times. Tchistopolers and writers listened with interest to Surkov’s stories about the front at the Teacher's House and enterprises. Together with Mikhail Isakovsky poet met with city Komsomol activists. His poems "We show loyalty to the fatherland", "I sing revenge" were published in local newspapers.
Participants of the meeting will be presented the literary book by poet and editions devoted to his art. Performed by the author, in record, poems "Time, is such, we have ...", "Moon hangs over scorched garden" - dedicated to Konstantin Simonov, are due to sound, the organizers said.
