The II Second All-Russian Music Competition starts at the Kazan Conservatory

The II Second All-Russian Music Competition starts at  the Kazan Conservatory October.  The founders of the contest are  the Government and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, organization and holding the contest is assigned to the Russian State Concert of "Commonwealth".  

The contest  has a  four-year cycle  format. Contest  auditions, covering all musical academic specialty, is  conducted from September to December each year. Two rounds of the competition held at the conservatories of all federal districts of Russia, and the third collects the best young artists in Moscow, where the outcomes are summed up. Thus, participants from different cities of the country  get  not only an opportunity to participate in such a competitive scale project, but also to perform  on the stage of the best concert halls of the capital. Thus, a gala concert   the  I All-Russian competition was held at  the Concert Hall  named after  P. Tchaikovsky.

In the Volga Federal District, auditions will be held in two conservatories - Kazan and Nizhny Novgorod. In Kazan, the contest in "Piano" and "Solo singing", and in Nizhny Novgorod violinists and cellists will take part in the competition.  

The panel of the jury of the II National Music Competition will include the best performers, professors of the leading music universities in the country. The Kazan Conservatory Competition will gather musicians not only from Kazan, but also from Nizhny Novgorod, Saratov, Ufa, Ulyanovsk, Yoshkar-Ola, Izhevsk.

The contest opens on Sunday, October 5, and auditions start the next day at  the Small and Organ halls of the Kazan Conservatory. Performances of the contestants will be completed on October 8, according to the press service of the conservatory.
